And it wasn't long before yet another train show up, this time a fast eastbound. Tom, a big Montana Rail Link fan, was really excited by the third unit, an MRL SD45. He said it had probably never run as fast as when it blasted past us! The gas station and restaurant buildings in the distance at the far right of the picture popped up shortly after Interstate 39 was built in the early 1990s.
